With over 35 years of experience in the stone and restoration industry, our journey is built on craftsmanship, dedication, and a deep understanding of natural materials. Founded by Bruno Borgia and Angela Sica, the story begins in Italy, where Bruno first entered the industry at the age of 16, working as a manual labourer. This early, hands-on experience laid the foundation for a lifelong career, developing a deep respect for materials, technique, and workmanship.

By the age of 18, Bruno had already established his first tiling and restoration business, completing marble installation projects for private clients. From these early beginnings, a career defined by precision and excellence began to take shape. In 2001, Bruno and Angela met, marking the beginning of both a personal and professional partnership. In 2002, they expanded their vision internationally, opening a company in Miami, USA. Together, they delivered high-end installation and restoration projects while building and managing a growing team — establishing a foundation for all future ventures.

Shortly after, operations returned to Italy, where Bruno and Angela collaborated with prestigious luxury brands such as Bulgari and Chanel, leading projects across the globe — including Paris, San Francisco, Madrid, Cologne, Madagascar, and throughout Italy. During this time, they also completed large-scale landmark works, including over 23,000 square metres of stone installation for one of Rome’s most renowned shopping centres, Euroma2.

In 2010, their journey continued in Australia, beginning in Melbourne, where Bruno further strengthened his expertise working hands-on as a stone mason. Building on decades of international experience, Bruno and Angela established Borgia Marble & Tile Installation in 2017, delivering premium stone installation and restoration services across Melbourne’s most prestigious suburbs, including Toorak, Brighton, Hawthorn, Malvern and East Melbourne. The company has also been trusted with significant heritage restoration works, including projects at the Forum Theatre and Princess Theatre.

In 2021, they expanded their offering with the launch of Australia Stone Care, specialising in stone maintenance, restoration, re-honing, cleaning and sealing for both residential and commercial clients.

Today, Borgia Marble & Tile Installation and Australia Stone Care operate as a unified entity, combining installation, restoration, and ongoing stone care into one seamless service. This integration allows clients to benefit from a complete, end-to-end approach — from initial installation through to long-term maintenance — delivered with consistency, expertise and attention to detail.

Their reputation for delivering exceptional, high-end workmanship has led to projects being commissioned nationwide across Australia. From luxury residences in Queensland, to bespoke works in Tasmania, and extensive projects throughout Victoria and beyond, Bruno and Angela are regularly called upon to execute some of the country’s most refined and demanding stone applications.
